The Air Catchers' first album! - Songs To Pray You

Recorded over the course of one week in Seattle.
Track Listing:
1. Handletting - An acoustic song about sleds and lets[sic] of hands. 4 points off for nonsensical title. 6/10
2. Afghanistan- The epic story of a man from Afghanistan at the bottom of the ocean. Named best song of the year by every major music magazine and journalist in the solar system. The only reason that all those outside the solar system have not yet added their voices is because the transmissions have not yet reached them. You do not need to listen to anything else. Other people are stupid and boring, compared to the brilliance of this one song's message. It is not merely a song. It is the song. Your song. The song to end all songs. The alpha and the omega. The meaning of life, the universe, and everything. A surpassing fine drink coaster. Get now and get no discount, but the glow of ownership now. Now and for the rest of your life. 10/10
Who cares about the rest of the tracks, you don't need to listen to anything else ever again ever. Why should I write more or ever do anything else when I could be listening to the brilliance that is "AFGHANISTAN".
ANYWAY, now that that snake oil salesman's had his day, here's a little on each of the other tracks:
3. Late Nights - The Air Catchers' first song ever recorded. It starts off with a cover of the Beatles - "Yesterday" and progresses into more experimental territory, as heralded by the line "And now, we lose our minds." As the title would suggest, this song sounds like it was recorded at 4am. Interesting, but not eminently listenable. 2/10
4. Snowy Owl - This song brings us back to the more conventional style and improvised lyrics of Handletting. While some lines are rather too specific, such as "eating them, but leaving the bones," this song actually describes a Snowy Owl to a tee. A very descriptive and, at times, poetic song. 7/10
5. Plagiarism - Exactly what it sounds like. This song appears to be a collection of long excerpts from and renditions of the creators' music collection. I myself count Nirvana's "Smells Like Teen Spirit," the Silversun Pickups "Panic Switch," Portishead's "It Could Be Sweet," and a reharmonized "Hit the Road Jack." The inclusion of a section of Schubert's "Unifinished Symphony" shows of a wider range of influences than the previous songs might suggest, as do the various tidbits of Orchestral, Industrial, and oddly upbeat music.
BLAAARRRGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
That is all.

Here are the links for the songs, in order of track listing:

If you aren't a premium rapidshare user, it'll tell you to wait 45 seconds before downloading, which is annoying but doesn't mean you can't download it at all.

And then there's this demo of the next single. Mixing, overdubbing, patent, and actual talent pending. (other than the girl, who can actually sing)

NOTE: Don't feel bad about "illegally downloading" these. I have the band's blessing, and these are more like demo versions of songs that could be on an official album.
EDIT: All the links are dead now, except for Afghanistan. But that was the only one you wanted to hear anyway, right?
